The Digital Gryphon Kaleidoscope Oracle deck
A deck of 47 square oracle cards featuring a variety of images and colours to inspire your intuition. Many are based on my original photographs of florals, city scenes, shoefiti and pride parades. Others are spun from various patterns and digital effects.
As with most ‘Oracle Decks‘ published these days, this is not a fortune-telling deck but a collection of prompts for personal reflection. None of the images include a key word or phrase- and the downloadable .pdf lists only the original file name- so as to not limit your intuition’s response to each card.
Available now, printed on demand, at TheGameCrafter.com. As their name indicates, they produce table top board games as well as decks of cards. Their website auto-generates a 30 Day production estimate but my recent order arrived in about 2 weeks.
A few of the Kaleidoscopes in these decks are included in my book Gryphon Kaleidoscopes.
Highlights of the Creation Process:
I began with the 46 images in the Kaleidoscope Gallery and 19 in the Teddy Bear Tears Gallery at Fine Art America online shop. Artwork was prepared for an initial test deck. This made clear that many of the extensive small details that full images at FAA have do not reproduce well reduced for 3″x3″ cards.
The final selection includes about a dozen images that aren’t yet available as wall art at FAA. A few were created specifically for this deck. This size card meant that pricing is per ‘sheet of 12’ so a total of 48 cards was selected. One is the Title Card with copyright notice, That left 47 cards for artwork. There’s a complete list of them at the bottom of this page.
While I use a photo editing programme to spin a kaleidoscope version, each finished piece is the result of human intervention to generate multiple versions. The editing programme has a number of settings that impact the resulting image. The original file is often adjusted in various ways- cropped, items added or removed, colours adjusted in hue, brightness, saturation, etc.
Deck packaging options for this card size is limited at our Print On Demand partner- it is a ’boutique’ size so to speak. The only options designed for this size card is a tuck box or a hook box.
I don’t consider a tuck box (even those from large publishers) to be permanent storage for a deck that gets used. So I went with the less-expensive hook box presuming folks who use the deck to any degree will find other long-term storage. Laying out the production file using their template (as shown here) is pretty straight-forward.
Below are 2 pictures of cards and a list of the image names. Each image links to a full-size version.

3 JUNE 2025 UPDATE:
Just received my test print of 96 cards- for most, if not all, of the cards for Volumes Two and Three. I did a walk-through video for youTube. Now I need to decide the final selection of images, do any minor tweaks, prepare then upload the downloadable .pdf files. So I expect this/these to be available for sale mid-June.
